- Read before you write Joanne, I was talking about a price difference. If we
- want to access BIX we have a choice between IP + local dialin or long distance
- direct BIX dialin. In my comparison I choose the IP+local because it is cheaper
- then calling bix directly for most people in Europe. So we are talking about
- US$ 200 EXTRA. If we do direct dialin we loose the IP and pay even more EXTRA.

- 18*12 -> US$216 for BIX. But more then 250 US$ for the phonecompany because
- bix does not have local dialins. No matter how you turn things for most
- Europeans BIX developer support costs US$200 extra and adds nothing but a
- channel to the file/mail/conference which are also possible on internet.
- How come you don't want to believe this when lots of Europeans show you the
- calculations over and over again?

- If its all that easy you should contact Olaf Barthel. He's doing part of
- the work that you think is so easy. Maybe you can do it for them in this
- fraction of time and make up for all the lost income.

- Where did I say I want it free or next to free?
-
- I've payed my price in the Commodore years and I'll pay it again. I just
- don't want to add US$ 200 to that price to get the support trough BIX
- instead of directly from AT.
